According to the GOP Dictionary, it's only an abuse of power when democrats do it. When republicans do it, they're following the mandate of the people.
It's Democratic Party, not "democrat party". The fact that this was stated this way multiple times with a small d at least once, leads me to wonder if this was copied off of a Republican site.
