I do believe that Rashid and Meyer did resign due to Board Conflicts of Interest. This was the right thing to do. I hope that other Board members who serve on Boards who can allocate monies to organizations whose Boards they sit on, will realize this is unethical and they should reveal to the public the Boards that they sit on. Otherwise, they are not rightfully serving the public or looking out for taxpayer's money, and don't deserve those public offices.

Not only for the poor judgements of voting in the donation; but rumors have it they also knew Osama Bin Ladin and Co. were living down the street in the compound. Won't the "Taste of Pakistan" be delightful& interesting this year...especially w/ that ambassador, or consolate or what ever he is?
I agree, "Daddy's spoiled little rich girl" should own up to what she did wrong too, instead of her snide remarks about "Township Money can be given away to any charity, that's what Township Gov is all about.: I don't think the taxayer's think that's how their money should be spent. Belly Laff, what was the "scam" that "old man Palmer" was involved in? I recall something about "Jail time." He keeps a low profile, but owns businesses here in town or his money paid for them - like Gonzos! Daddy's girl runs that one, probably a front for Daddy.
To the Green Eyed Lady...as the song goes.I think there was a conspiracy involving Sona Video.A thriving business at one time, but things went funny over there. The new building went into close out mode w/"Everything must go" signs.\;although it seemed as if it were closed during it's "close out sale". Could it have been possible that the Bolingbrook Pakistanis along w/ the cricket team was housing him there for a while?I think it was possible.
I get all frustrated knowing that the DuPage Township goes through the same "antics as the Village of Bolingbrook does.It's like a bad case of jock itch...EWWW. I'm suprised the "Cricketeers"(singing to the beat of the Mickey Mouse Club)still have this Rashid guy.He lost the election to Shirley V. I guess the Bi laws state that the Grand Pooba Cricketeer named "Instunbill Mayer" was alowed to fill a vacancy w/him . Does he hold an important position in this organization as the Grand Pooba does other than "Buns Up Kneeling"?
A reply to the anonymous regarding Bill Palmer: I could log on to a www.whats my record site but the $4.95 one day trial offer isn't worth it when it comes to Bill Palmer. My own opinion is he lays low due to being a snake. I used to get medical treatment in one of his tenants units on East Boughton Rd. The roof leaked like a siv and was never fixed for them. Ceiling tiles falling down, floor damage, you should've seen the garbage pile out behind this store after the tenant moved out.A real slum Landlord, yet the Bolingbrook Chamber of Boobs voted and awarded him as "Outstanding Business Man of the Year Award" a few years back. I also know he tried being one of those "Counselors" like Big Carrol because that's where the money is at due to the court appointed DUI'S. As I understand, he was too "dirty" to be a counselor. Thank God Wayne Kwiat didn't win...talk about court appointed scamming.
I know Palmer was the Village Mgr. and later was fired due to a land deal v.s Will County Highway Commissioner. I do know he ran w/ the a "Rat Pack" Mayor Bailey who went to Jail for mail fraud, a realtor named Joe Brown who lost his license which had something to do with "why we now have section 8 housing in this Village".The Palmer kiddies own a printing business in town and are scooping up all the town business because he still is in the "KNOW & Connected"
