Du Page Township Board's Conflict of Interest

Do you consider the donation to the Cricket Club a conflict of interest?

  1. I've got to get into politics....what a sweet gig.

Donate taxpayers hard earned money to the charity of your choice. Why is the Township donating money to the cricket league? Isn't this an Adult league?????

  2. Are they giving back the $2K to the taxpayer now that they got caught? Did you confront them about this, Rhonda? What kind of public officials do we have? Maybe this is just the tip of the iceberg. They think no one is watching.

  3. It has been some time since I have got the chance to get back to this website and must admit that I am disappointed. I used to think it was very informative and believed the information was accurate and reported with professionalism. However, after catching up, it appears that it has become nothing more than the the same repeat of the nonsense and slander that the Bolingbrook Report writes about. BIG disappointment... It's a shame that you lost your sense of direction...

  4. Cool. Then do all of us a favor and stop visiting the site. Go read the BB Bugle.

  5. Bravo Jim

You only reported the facts as you heard them. people need to be infomed. even though it is not illegal, that does not make it right to mess with taxpayers' money to the Board's favorite charities and non-profits. How nice for them, to sit on a Board that can allocate taxpayer money to another Board that they sit on. How stinky can this get. Since when does a "Cricket" Club need charitable donations?

  7. Numbercruncher has got it right! 30 yr resident is either uninformed or drinking the cool aid. Keep up the great reporting. Our DuPage Township officials need to take a course in Ethics. They don't know right from wrong. Conflict of interest is unethical. Things like this have been going on in Bolingbrook for too long! Keep shining the light of truth on our local government activities.

  10. Tit for tat, pay for play, call it whatever you want it stinks like rotten fish.

For those who complain about transparency, they sure don't seem to be trying to hide it.
