Clow International Airport: Chronic Losses

As a taxpayer, where do you draw the line when it comes to the chronic losses at Clow Intl Airport and Golf Course?

What should Mayor Claar, and the Village Board do with both investments?

  1. Sell them to you.
I mean, since you are the know all, be all on everything Bolingbrook, surely you could do a better job?
Please just move away, far away.

  2. To Anonymous: Yes. I believe I can do a better job than the Trustees sitting on the Village board. And I enjoy reporting on how local government spend our tax dollars. It's a God-given passion of mine.

I love Bolingbrook, and don't plan on moving anytime soon.

So my suggestion to you, take your own advice and MOVE. Try North Korea or Cuba. That type of government is more in line with "your kind".

In the meantime, please continue visiting the site.

  3. Anonymous, get a grip. What benefit does this airport bring to 99.8% of the residents? This is an very expensive hobby and I'm sure most of the people fling in and out aren't residents of Bolingbrook.

If you can prove otherwise do so, if not then please tell me what value does this add to my property value or how does it benefit the residents of Bolingbrook?

  4. I've lived in Bolingbrook 11 years and never been to Clow or the Golf Course. I say get rid of both. Cut our losses now.

  5. No. 1 anonymous. Can you be any clearer that you a towel boy of Rog and his ducklings? Rhonda doesn't make the facts, she just reports them. I would like to point out your simple and immature response exposes your complete and utter ignorance just in case you did not know and want to hide it better. Thank you Rhonda for your continuing dedication to Bolingbrook and its citizens.
