Hi Rhonda, I am being honest when I say I contribute absolutely nothing. I refuse to pay 8.5% in sales tax when I can pay 7.25% elsewhere, refuse to pay 14.5% on Wine when I can pay 7.25% elsewhere, refuse to pay 10.5% on meals when I can pay 7.25% elsewhere and I put all of my employees, customers and guests in The Marriott in Lisle saving me 3% in taxes. Its funny you should write this article as I just conducted an audit and established that I had saved myself and my company $2,290 in taxes by not shopping and staying in Bolingbrook through fiscal year ending June 30th. You see this is what the current administration just does not get. If they lowered the consumption taxes they levy then they would receive more in revenue. Its simple economics.
Keep up the good work and don't stress over the first comment, socialists like the person who posted will wake up one morning and find out all the handouts they get are gone.
How do you think governments are run? How do you think the employees are paid? What is your solution to this so-called problem?
