not a bad idea. But we can't get away from corrupt politicians. They're everywhere. Plus, I'm not leaving my country. The united states is still the best place in the world.
Regarding Anonymous comment - if Mexico is such a great place: Does any one know why Mexico has no Gold Medal Olympians?
It's because every one that can run , jump, & swim are over here!

They want to work at Johansens Farm, living in the barns and then walk down the bike trail to Hidden Oaks trout farm at night and poach the fish at the tax payers expense. I know fat ass Johansen is not lining up all those pots and planting flowers in them. Hell he spends his time at the VFW/American Legion on Rte 53 in Lisle.
Good topic. Yes, I do know of a few people living abroad. My parents retired, and now live in Mexico. All are very happy with their decision.
