Furthermore, when was the last time you or any of the other OPINION BLOGS posted something positive about the Village or something that DID NOT attack the Mayor, the entire Village Board, the VVSD Board (less Liz Campbell), etc. Now I can appreciate the fact that you allow comments to post without having them filtered first. Perhaps the REAL NEWS SOURCES are publishing pieces that only shine a bright light on the Brook, because the OPINION POSTS y'all are posting are nothing more than lies, falsehoods an innuendos?
Also, are you even aware there's a law, that requires local municipalities to select a local NEWS publication with whom to publish official stories regarding Village Business?

You accuse them of never "posting anything positive" about the Village, mayor, VVSD. When the FACTS show that Claar and His Crew are "big spenders", they are big spenders! Numbers don't lie, people do.
You then end your statement praising the "real news sources" because they only shine a "bright" light on the Brook. This sounds like BAND WAGONNING and TESTIMONIAL.
Thanks for giving us one more example of how propaganda works in The Brook.
Most of the main stream media leans towards the left and is socialist in nature, which is why I can see that the Bugle and The Reporter not publishing anything that may see any politician in Bolingbrook in a bad light.
The Patch is owned by Huffington and as everyone knows this organization borders on communism so you will not see a peep from this media vehicle.
I do not know where the Bolingbrook Report sits as this outlet appears to swing from extreme left wing to extreme right wing view points and to me appears to flow which ever way the wind blows.
As for the Number Crunchers I feel this outlet is a little right of center (blue dog)and is probably the more accurate without the biased propaganda of what is going on in the village.
Unfortunately we still need a media outlet that offers the right wing perspective and openly analyzes our socialist politicians and administrations in Bolingbrook and offers a more fiscal alternative.
The first poster is living in an alternative dimension if he/she does not feel the Mayor, VVSB, Library and Township, tax way too much and spend too much.

Both groups, were at some point 'wronged' by the Mayor. I believe they have gone beyond looking out for the residents best interest & are intent on doing nothing more than trying to raise enough hate and discontent towards anyone even remotely associated with him. Except for Liz Campbell, who is just as culpable when it comes to VVSD matters, as anyone else on the VVSD hit list. However, never seems to feel the wrath of the so-called watchdog groups.
Of course, ever since My President Obama won the election. The Republican Party then announced their main objective was to make sure he failed in everything he did and was not re- elected. It's ashame they and others consider them Americans. I consider them terroists in a sense.That party has polluted the United States of America with their Wall Street tax dodging greediness. Not to mention what they all really dislike is a smart black man beat a white war hero. If any of yous are calling me a liar, then why aren't there any Black Republicans running so far? Ain't there any "Smarter" ones in that Elephant Party? That party doesn't have the BALLS. (For the record I'm a white dude).The propaganda is spread from the Republican owned T.V stations all the way down to our local news agencies. Has any of these mentioned how hard he has worked for us and actually listed almost 200 things he's done. That answer is NO....They don't want us to know! An Adolph Hitlers Top Officer stated that if you tell the people enough lies,for a long period of time they begin to believe it. Remember "Joe The Plumber"? Where did he go? He wasn't even a plumber. Hell, at Bolingbrooks Judy Biggert townhall meeting last year they removed a guy because he was a reporter........She don't wanna get quoted there I guess. The newspaper is selected for announcements, such as no meeting, budget workshops, bids, etc, etc, etc. Not feel good stories about our politicians.
