Community Poll: Did the State of Georgia Execute An Innocent Man?

What are your views on the death penalty?

Where do you stand in the debate?  Do you support the pardon bd, and supreme ct's decision?  Or, do you believe there was too much doubt in the case?

The floor is open.  Tell us what you think.

  1. This case is very tragic. I am saddened the Supreme Court and the Georgia board of pardons refuse to save this mans life. He's a human being. Why not let him serve life without parole?

I used to be on the fence when it came to the death penalty. But now, I am totally against it.

The system is broken, and innocent people are being executed. It's barbarac.

  3. For those of you who don't think that a person can be wrong fully convicted and put to death what about that case that happened awhile back… what was the guy's name?…Remember they had a bunch of eyewitnesses who testified against him and they used his own words in court to prove his guilt… What was his name again? Oh yeah, Jesus of Nazareth.

  4. I remember another guy who got off even though there was a ton of evidence to convict him of a double murder. Remember OJ.

  5. So you're saying that since once African-American male got off even though there was a lot of evidence against him, it's OK to execute another African-American male with very little evidence of guilt because that just makes it even-steven? Are you really that ignorant or just that racist?
