Bolingbrook is very much like North Korea. Our Great Leader, Roger Claar, runs the Village, DuPage Township, Fountaindale Library and Valley View Schools. He stifles dissent and demands loyalty. His followers are like the sycophants worshiping the Great Leader in North Korea.
Have you seen the clips of Kim Jong Il's funeral on CNN? The reporter called it a "contest" of mourners. The people were literally trying to outcry each other, in fear of being persecuted for not mourning enough. How crazy is that?
The Xmas pty is invitation only, held at the glorious BB golf course, with free food and drinks. Who do you think is paying for it? Give ya 1 guess? So stop bragging.....
We welcome all comments, and appreciate your input. However, we have a zero tolerance when it comes to cyber bullying, name calling, and profanity. Any comment that violates this policy will be immediately deleted.
I would like to ask the following questions of this site and anybody else who has a desire to run for Village Trustee or Mayor- What specifically would you cut from the budget? What would you do to raise revenue in Bolingbrook? Would you raise taxes? How do you intend on keeping the current businesses here? What would you do to attract new businesses to Bolingbrook? Please be as detailed as possible?
In the spirit of fairness, the post made by Anonymous @ Thursday, December 29, 2011 9:34:00 PM and Laura @ Thursday, December 29, 2011 10:22:00 PM also contain name calling and cyber bullying. They should be removed as well.
We published your questions and answers on the Home page of the site. Please click link to read more: http://thenumbercrunchers-bolingbrook.com/home.html
Sounds lke the "other end" is trying to use "cyber Bullying" to stop criticizing Village Hall and Township. However a responsible critique is NOT Cyber Bullying.
How else can people air their views and real feelings?
Why am I not surprised my post was removed by a blog administrator? :/
If asking where you got your data, stating y'all got your arses kicked in 2009, 2011 and that you will again in 2013, is considered 'cyberbullying', then I would suggest y'all get some thicker skin.
Tuesday: You are wrong. Why don't you READ the comments before jumping so quickly to conclusions.
In this particular blog, there are at least 3 comments 'against' the article. If you pull up some of the other topics, there are hundreds of comments "for" and "against" the various topics.
In fact, The Number Crunchers published one of the questions on the cover of it's site, including answers. Have you even bothered to read it?
If you dislike what you're reading, feel that you don't have a voice, or have a personal issue with Rhonda, why do you bother visiting the site?
As stated, you may have a better reception on the BB Patch or Topix.
In the meantime, can we get back to the subject of this blog - Is Mayor Claar, First Party popularity an illusion?
Legal, There are also comments that have remained that name call and cyber bully but since they're against the people currently in office, they weren't removed. As far as the illusion, I don't believe so. If you look at that numbers, they got more than twice the number of votes than the nearest challengers.
Rhonda, you are a class act. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteJudging by his annual Christmas party, I would say Mayor Claar and the First Party are still very popular.
ReplyDeleteThe fact remains that received more than twice the number of votes than the candidate that finished in 4th place did.

What a joke.
Hey Tuesday: Why don't you try READING the article before posting comments. The source is provided in the article.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, Your previous posting was peppered with profanity and name-calling. That's why your comment was deleted.
The only joke here is YOU. Grow up!
We will NOT tolerate your fanaticism, and filthy comments on this blog. Take that crap to BB Patch, or Topix.
That's what I'm trying to say.
ReplyDeleteMY posting was in NO WAY "peppered with profanity and name-calling".
What is apparently NOT tolerated, are any posts that do not agree with the blog administrator(s).
That's a shame. Because, I always thought Rhonda better than that.

sychophant...
ReplyDeleteIf Claar and his soldiers are so well liked, as you claim, why are you people so angry? It seems desperate.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work TNCs.
