Outsourcing might not erase the $2 million deficit, but it should get them close to cutting the gap in half. They need to move ahead with outsourcing the transportation and also look at cutting the administrative fat..like all the curriculum administrators. Everything should be on the table.
Probably not. They would be closer to it if they also eliminate the free bus service to the Catholic schools in the district. They should at least charge these parents the same fees that they charge students that don't qualify for free transportation to district schools.
